Corinne Greene - July 10th, 1953-July 13th 2004

"Simply put - I just can't imagine a world without Corinne Greene in it.  No matter how things got in her struggles with cancer - it became something that was simply part of her life and never ran her life.  She will always continue to be an amazing hero to me. I am incredibly grateful to her for leading me to my partnership with The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  Mostly though - I am grateful to her for always being there - 100% in the moment - with me.  She lit up every room she entered and continues to inspire me to be the best person I can be.  The world will never feel quite as bright to me without her being a part of it."

"It is amazing to me that after years of being a triple-threat film actress, Doris Day has made a second career being an advocate for animal rights. For those of you who know me, you know what an animal lover I am. I so applaud the wonderful work Ms Day is doing in this part of her career and encourage you to join the Doris Day Animal League for only ten dollars annually. That money goes a long way in helping animal welfare."
